R T Diamonds was founded by Roy Travin, a third-generation diamond expert, and the CEO of the company. Roy is a descendant of one of the most trusted families in the diamond industry, with a heritage spanning across Israel, Belgium, New York, and Hong Kong. The Travin family has been integral to the global diamond trade since the mid-20th century, as one of the founding members of the renowned “Diamond Exchange Building.”

Growing up in a family deeply involved in the diamond business, Roy Travin gained invaluable knowledge from a young age. His upbringing in this environment allowed him to develop advanced diamond appraisal skills and a solid understanding of international trade from his teenage years. Building on this rich tradition and expertise, Roy founded R T Diamonds Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan, in 2010, establishing the company as a premier player in the global diamond market.

Every day I am amazed at how different the colors are, such as olive green, lemon yellow, and orange, depending on the temperature and light.
